“This is an emergency on a scale that we have never before seen for the world’s animal shelters, rescue organizations and everyone who cares for cats,” said Becky Robinson, president and founder of Alley Cat Allies. “We must find a way to continue providing food and medical care for all cats even as so much of the rest of our world comes to a stop. Many organizations are dealing with sudden and severe shortages of food, staffing and money. We are doing everything we can to provide direct assistance and critical information to support those who are performing daily miracles so the cats in their care will survive.”
PALNV was able to buy 101/16# bags of Kit N Kaboodle, 50/22# bags, and 5/30# bags totaling 2,866 lbs of cat food.
We have also used the funds for the purchase of 50 microchips and 3 heating beds for our neonates until we can secure incubators.

WHAT. A. GIFT!!!!!
We got a call from PALNV (they are the food bank that we purchase food from for our colony caretakers) letting us know that they got a grant from Alley Cat Allies for food and they were donating 20 bags of food to us!! WOW! This could not have come at a better time, our caretakers were literally on their last bag of food. This just shows, as always, cat people are the very best people. We also purchased all of the wet food they had in the warehouse for our caretakers.
This is one of my very favorite things to do. It makes my heart fill with love and gratitude, knowing that we are a part of filling some hungry tummies.
We are unbelievably grateful to @palnevada to be able to partner with them and to @alleycatallies for the very generous gift
A HUGE thank you to PALNV for the awesome cat food donation! This is going to feed a lot of feral colony cats in the city of Las Vegas 🧡💙❤️💜💛
